Privacy Policy
Drawer · Effective 9 August 2026
The short version: Drawer has no account and no servers of ours.
Your saved items live on your device and, only if you choose, in your own iCloud.
We don't collect, see, or receive your content.
No account, no Drawer server
Drawer does not require you to create an account or sign in to us. There is no
Drawer backend. Your identity is simply your own Apple device and Apple account.
Where your data lives
- On your device by default — everything you save is stored locally.
- In your own iCloud only if you turn on iCloud sync, so your items
stay in step across your Apple devices. This uses your personal iCloud storage under
Apple's terms and encryption; we have no access to it.
What we collect
Nothing. Drawer does not collect analytics, does not track you,
and sends none of your content to us. Uninstalling the app does not delete items you
synced to your own iCloud — you control those in your Apple account.
Features that contact other services (only when you use them)
- Link previews — when enabled, Drawer fetches a title and thumbnail
for a saved link by contacting that link's website. This happens on your device and can
be turned off in Settings. No browsing history is sent to us.
- WhatsApp import (Mac) — if you turn it on, Drawer reads your local
WhatsApp database on your Mac to import your starred messages, and may download that
media from WhatsApp's servers to save it locally. This runs only when you enable and run
it, contacts only WhatsApp/Meta (revealing your device's IP to them, as any download
would), and sends nothing to us.
Your rights
Because we hold none of your content, there is nothing on our side to export or delete.
You can delete any item in the app, and you control your iCloud data through your Apple
account. If you have contacted us by email and want that correspondence deleted, write to
the address below and we'll erase it (within one month, per GDPR).
Children
Drawer is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
